I reversed into another car and just popped her back bumper out
i reversed into another car today and popped her back bumper out, it just had to be clicked back in, no marks or dents. she took my name and number and said she had to get it checked out, i could have fixed it there and then. i never took her details and i'm worried she might try to get me to replace the whole bumper which is not needed, what are my rights?

It will be your word against hers. As long as you don't accept liability, it will go 50/50, that is, your insurance company will pay half and her insurance company half of the money towards the repair costs.
Either way, you'll lose all or part of your no claims bonus because when full liability of a party cannot be established, both parties will have to record it as a fault claim.
Btw you said you reversed into her car, then how come it's the back bumper that came down? Shouldn't it be the front bumper of her car?
I see. Well I hope she's an honest person and doesn't go claiming unnecessarily. Btw have you received any correspondence in that regards? It's been over a week now.
no haven't heard anything, think i can probably forget about it now, was just nervous to start with as have never tipped or bumped anything before. thanks for your comments
