Can I drive in the UK if i have a Swaziland driving licence?

If you're a visitor to the UK, you can use your Swaziland driving licence for upto 12 months from the date you last entered England, provided the licence is still valid. Note that you can only drive a regular car or motocycle but not lorries or other big vehicles even if you have entitlements for these (there are exceptions to this though).
If you're a student or resident, different rules apply so let me know which one is going to apply to you.
I got my driving licence in 1976 I now live in the UK and would like to know what I should do to exchange my swaziland licence to a british one? Or just get a new driving licence from you. Name is margaret.
