Red light at roundabout

I'm not sure about Scotland because some laws are different but in England, there are many places where that's in operation. They have the traffic lights camera at busy junctions which flashes when a driver goes through a red light. This is used as evidence to issue you a fixed penalty notice and you may incur points on your licence as well for that offence.
