I have a 13 month drink driving ban and would like to know if it will be ending 13 months from the date I was convicted or 13 28-day months from that date?

It's calendar months. You can always call up DVLA to find out exactly when your driving ban is going to be over. This will save you the trouble of having to calculate when your driving ban will be lifted. You can also get in touch with the court where you were sentenced to find when your disqualification will end.
